The SkinTwo North Ball weekend is finally here! I’m doing some last minute preparations while Velvet attends to other matters and My dear Twisted-behaviour{TM} travels here. Tomorrow Rosie Posey {TM}t will arrive and the bratting contest will begin in earnest for first strike! LOL! So far I’ve had naughty little messages along the lines of “Ma’am, it wasn’t me who said you cane like a child!”. I can see I’ll need a firm hand this weekend! It’s lucky I have two firm hands about My person I think!

Many of My friends will be at SkinTwo, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them again, as I’ve had to be absent from the scene while I’ve sat exams etc. Of course, we are all reassured that this is indeed a proper fetish event, as the ever present Eric Stanton will be gracing us with his presence (I’m sure you all know My ES theory by now! LOL!)

I’m thrilled to bits to be spending time with some of My favorite people over the weekend, and as such I will be unavailable/like rocking horse shit to contact from now until Tuesday 7th July.

As a Lifestyle as well as Professional Dominatrix, I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to hone my skills and express the darkness that lives inside of Me fairly freely. However, this does not mean I place no value in vanilla things.

I personally think it is a huge mistake to consider vanilla boring or dull. It is a delightful counter-balance to the dark flavour of BDSM, the contrast serving to heighten the impact of each. The only boring part of vanilla sex, for example, is an unimaginative and unresponsive partner who has no creativity or real passion in them.

For Me, the joy in a BDSM scene,  is in being able to manipulate their flesh to My own ends and in doing so allow us both to fly on the wings of darkness I have created. As the pain transmutes to submission and they are set adrift in sub-space…THERE is beauty. This almost spiritual experience then leaves plenty of space for the enjoyment of things many members of our community would consider too vanilla to be fun or interesting. I fail to see why I should be so frankly foolish as to limit the range of sensations and wonderful experiences I can have in life. I prefer to add a string to my bow, rather than reduce my world by merely exchanging one for another.

I had an unexpected and most enjoyable session today.  A novice approached Me for initiation and asked for his Domination to be very direct. Once we met he found that all that was required was for My green gaze to pin him down! It was at this point he said something along the lines of :

“i came in wanting You to force me to Your rule, now i know that i couldn’t bear You to ever be disappointed”

It struck Me then how delighted I was to hear his words. Let his first moment be with someone who leads through devotion and loyalty, rather than fear! Far too many “dominants” think they need to rule through fear and poor manners as the re-emergence of the debate in the community over the manners displayed to subs, femme-subs in particular, clearly shows.

How some people think it’s EVER ok to help themselves to the body of another is beyond Me! I’ve seen it far too often in clubs and even munches, where a “dominant” thinks they can avail themselves of any passing sub. They’d not fondle the ass of the bank manager, so why do it to a sub? And we wonder why our community has a bad reputation!

How many people have noticed the odd duel standards that have been displayed in Britain’s Got Talent? In a world where auditions are televised it’s been great to see members of alternative communities and maligned group represented and valued:

• Fabia Cerra – at a time when Burlesque is being threatened with any future in the UK, we see a finalist representing this art form.
• Mama Trish – a drag artiste, but let’s not forget that cross dressing is “weird” and still listed with the WHO as a psychological deviance.
• Shaheen Jafargholi - product of a single-parent family. This group was maligned as the cause of much delinquency and cause of crime in the UK.
• Flawless - street dancers or street gang? Should we applaud or should we report them for congregating in public places and making us fear for our safety?
• Merlin Cadogan - found on stage in a straight jacket and flaming rope. If that’s not bondage and edge play in public, what is it? This has got to violate the obscene pornography law as well. After all a mans life was placed at risk or appeared to be, though while he was bound he wasn’t gagged so it might just be ok!
