While the candle burns down mourning this recent death, I am reminded of the joys we shared together while he was alive. I think the most fitting memorial is the memory of love and laughter you share, one of which I offer here as memorial to a good person…

The mists of time hold a tale of a blow up doll, inflated and dressed in a red thong and black lace dress, taken along to dinner as my friends ‘date’. He sat next to her in the restaurant, demanded the waiter pour his date some wine, and asked if I’d go to the loo with her as she was being very quiet and he feared he’d ‘blown it’ with her! LOL! Dropping ‘lucky’ he took his date home with him to the house he shared with his ex-wife. When he got there, he pulled the doll’s knickers down round her ankles and left her sat on the toilet… The scream the next day alerted him to his ex-wife finding ’someone’ on the toilet. Glasses can change everything, can’t they?

I’m often asked if I’m a Dominatrix or Mistress, my answer is that I am BOTH! While the terms have become more interchangeable, with the term “Mistress” used as an honorific (hence it’s capitalisation), it is also a descriptive term in it’s own right. So, what are the differences?

A Dominatrix is someone who takes the Dominant role within a D/s exchange and is female.  Informed Consent adds “The term dominatrix is little used within the BDSM scene, and is usually used to refer to professional dominants (”pro-dommes”)“.  I can’t 100% agree with their definition, because not all D/s exchanges are sexual in My opinion or experience! 

IC don’t have an entry for the term “Mistress” although they do for “Master”. Many of the ideas attached to term “Master” hold true for a “Mistress”, in that She may be the head of a House (or stable) within the BDSM community. However, the terms Mistress or Master can also be used to denote those who comprehend the difference between a submissive and a slave, and are capable of training and owning a slave.

It is within this context that I am called Mistress, as well as  the fact that I head up a House and take a Dominant role within D/s exchanges. I am a Dominatrix in both a Lifestyle and Professional sense, and a sadist whichever way you slice it! Savvy?

I gain something unique and different from each of My serves if I’m honest. All of them display loyalty, and none of them blind obedience (and please note, they are obedient, just not blindly so!). One brings me calmness in the torment of his service, another lays release from stress at My feet, another swathes herself in such love and warmth it wraps us both up as we play together, and another brings a strong fragility – showing with clarity how fine the balance is between these two human traits… I could go on. They ALL bring Me new lessons to learn every day – not just about play and how to hone skills, but about Myself.

In discovering who they are I learn more about Myself; in exploring play together I learn new skills, create new variations and discover some interesting things about Myself. I think it’s good to learn about yourself, even if some things are scary at times!

I suppose in all honesty My answer is vague because it’s so very open and because I try not to place limits on Myself when it comes to learning scope! Pre-conceived ideas can close you off to new things if you’re not careful… and that perhaps is the most valuable lesson I’ve gained. Subs can be the most evil of the bunch when dreaming up new tortures and play techniques too. The most important thing to remember is that just because you are Dominant you don’t know it all!

What do You hope to gain?

I do this for several reasons:

1. It weeds out the “quick buck” players – they run away when I suggest this is a requirement!
2. It means that should an “ooops” happen in play the Dominant can actually cope.
3. Knowing you can cope should anything go wrong instills confidence in the Dominant – giving greater scope for creativity within any scene. A confident Dominant also means a more relaxed submissive/bottom/switch to play with yielding better results for both sides.
4. It displays a willingness to take the responsibility for safety that IS the Dominants “job” once the scene has begun!
5. The more you know about the human body…the more things you can manipulate to your own ends!

• they think being eye-candy is “enough”.
• they think they are “dedicated” yet don’t find out about Me!
• they aren’t masochistic!
• they seek sexual gratification!
• they are too far away.
• they are unrealistic about what is involved.
• they are too selfish.
• they are stupid/arrogant enough to think they are the “exception”!

I’m exceptionally  fussy who I train towards one of My personal collars and only train 1-2 serves each rotation. I make My selection after observing the lucky victim (prospector) for some time, and then a years worth of training is embarked upon before consideration is given towards collaring. This means there is NO guarantee one will be offered at the end of the year!

Those who attend Me on a personal level need to be diligent, intelligent, attentive to detail, self-motivated (do I look like I want to think for you too?), hard working, dedicated and (for preference) very, very masochistic! Gender and orientation do not matter. If you are too lazy to do your homework, you are too lazy to kneel at My feet unless you are paying to be there! 

Sadly she lost her battle with ill health and was taken from us on 23rd October 2009.

An outspoken and lively slave, nosa was ever the peace maker – often risking drawing retribution to herself to further the cause of others.
