Well, I went to Kinkdom lastnight, and, as my first kink event, I admit that I did not have an awful lot to compare it to, although I will admit that I really enjoyed it, the great mix of things to do was awesome! There was a market on throughout the day, and there was something there for everyone, even people without a kink related vibe going on there. Anyone from the alternative viewpoint would have enjoyed it thoroughly, with market stalls from shoes, and clothes, to crops and floggers. With a very good Blacksmiths stall, which NOT as I expeced, did crops etc as well as a lot of metal work,… Being a blacksmith I would have expected them to only do chains/restraints/metal products, and not only was surprised by their variety of other items in popular demand, but was a graced with a gift, which was nice!!! Well, LOVELY!! to be honest.

I admit that the BBQ left a little to be desired, although management says that they intend to find a different chef for the next even, on the first Suday of October, with an angels theme.
The demonsrations throughout the day were both brilliant and varied, although I will admit I did miss a lot of them, being heavily engrossed in the maket!!

The evening turned out to be a tremendous accomplishment. A lot of people who had bought day tickets, decided to stay on for the ball. And very fairly, I found that management were only charging the difference between the price of the day ticket and the full ticket, rather than making you pay an extra fee, for not buying a full ticket in advance, which I must admit I think is brillian value for money, as I know a lot of clubs which would have taken the more profitable route… and to be quite frank, I probably would have too!!
The evening showed a lot of brilliant equipment, being available for those who wished to play/be  played, for the public to watch, which was brilliant, and very well suplied for the amount of guests that actually showed up, including more than just the one St Andrew’s Cross!!!

There was a large smoking area that catered for the high percentage of smokers that were there, that didnt really interrupt with those tht didnt smoke!  Which was brilliant too. I personally had a couple of friends that didn’t smoke, who accompanied me to the smoking area on this opening nigt, and even though it was a covered outside area. they found it no problem to be out there with the smokers!!
There was a bar open throughout the entire day, which carried on during the evening!! With a fairly varied option of drinks, which is usually my favourite feature of a place like that LOL!!

The DJ was brilliant, playing such a varied and eclectic mix of music throughout. Hands up to him!!
All in all the night was OUTSTANDING!!! A big well done to all those involved in the coming together of such an event! You should all be amazingly proud of yourselves. The high proportion of people extending their tickets to the evening, the way a lot of people said that it was as though it had been open for years, and how many people intend to come back next month!!
