Kinkdom 1 was an astounding success, as has been documented.

However, there are some members of society in general who seem to have taken a dim view of it: We and the venue management had taken legal advice which was that existing licenses covered the staging of the event. The Council have taken a different view, and whilst we will challenge their ruling we can’t do it in time for October’s event.

So Kinkdom 2 has to be different: no market, entirely closed venue, private membership only. We think we have the venue (we were working on it already), we think we have the date (the more popular Saturday - that’s why we were working on it already!!) at a location not far from Kinkdom1.

In the end, however, Kinkdom was and is about the meeting of the community, you, and about the chance to play, swap expertise, network, be accepted. Buying goodies as well was a bonus.

The main part we still have, but we desperately need your support to keep it going. The birth of Kinkdom as an established event is, it seems, going to be protracted and painful We will care for and nurture our fledgling event, but we need your continued support, we need you to keep coming, and coming and coming.

*Had* to share Hedge’s excited and brilliant thoughts about Kinkdom with you. Excuse the typos, but I didnt want to “mess with her post” and she was ever such excited!

Well, I went to Kinkdom lastnight, and, as my first kink event, I admit that I did not have an awful lot to compare it to, although I will admit that I really enjoyed it, the great mix of things to do was awesome! There was a market on throughout the day, and there was something there for everyone, even people without a kink related vibe going on there. Anyone from the alternative viewpoint would have enjoyed it thoroughly, with market stalls from shoes, and clothes, to crops and floggers. With a very good Blacksmiths stall, which NOT as I expeced, did crops etc as well as a lot of metal work,… Being a blacksmith I would have expected them to only do chains/restraints/metal products, and not only was surprised by their variety of other items in popular demand, but was a graced with a gift, which was nice!!! Well, LOVELY!! to be honest.

As you are all aware I’ve been heavily involved in the launch of Kinkdom. However, only some of you will realise that no matter what  My involvement with a club, I’m disgustingly honest about what it’s like and how it’s run.

Kinkdom launched yesterday in an explosion of fantastic shopping (I spent WAY too much….though oddly bought NO shoes!) and a riot of kinky play. I’ve written a full review on the Sinsearch Blog about the club facilities and how it’s run, which can be viewed by following this link. What I’ll cover here is a brief outline of the events that took place across the day, and as the week wears on I’ll explore each area in more detail :)

We (naturally) arrived fashionably late after I helped Hedge with her make-up and outfit to find a marketplace that contained a huge variety of traders as well as heaps of friends I’d not seen in ages. Hugging people “hello” and getting more than 5 feet inside the door took Me around 2 hours! LOL! However, I did manage to do some shopping and make some new friends, as well as catch up with established ones (like anything would stop this Mistress from shopping!).

Rubber Switch {TM}t not only acted as My driver, but was superb when I lent him out to Kinkdom to do a spell (4 hours) on the door. I rewarded him later by the delicate striping of his back with My Twisted Talons and a pair of pin-wheels, having “massaged” him with a variety of floggers across his shoulders and breath playing him one of My S10 gas masks

Hedge had a wonderful time at her first ever fetish event and was gifted her very first crop by the lovely people from The First Bondage Blacksmith. Quite how  wise this gift actually is, remains to be seen; but she’s thoroughly delighted that it reacts beautifully under black light! Hedge was less than impressed at the fact that Kinkdom decided to disallow any photography on the launch day, but did understand that this decision was made in order to protect the kinksters attending. We managed to get a couple of shots of Me out on the terrace though (with permission), and we are discussing a photography option with Kinkdom for next month.

Rubber piglet had a fantastic time, and ended up being able to stay unexpectedly into the evening. My personal thanks go to the individuals concerned again who showed her such kindness. She had a heap of fun being knife played by Q, and then experiencing the delights of Lady Ash. I had a few brief words with rubber piglet a couple of times across the evening and I can’t help but feel that “rubber rabbit in headlights” might perhaps be a better name for her when she looks into My eyes!

Overall, Kinkdom is a most excellent event and one which I will be attending on a regular basis. Despite being a new event, the organisation was such that many commented on the fact that it felt like it had been running for years.

It’s only two days to go until Kinkdom opens for the first time. I can hardly wait! Sadly Velvet, Maid in Ireland and Miss Behave{TM}t won’t be able to come along and play - a shame as I had a special surprise for Miss Behave{TM}t….mind you, it can wait! LOL! Rubber Switch{Tm}t will be dancing attendance on Me, Hedge will be there as My official photographer (ask nicely and you can be in some! LOL!) and rubber piglet will be there too. I’m looking forward to catching up with many good friends of Mine, including Lady Alpha & Donnachaidh, the onmipresent Eric Stanton, the eternally enigmatic Q, ZakRLee in full military order, the adorable Sweetie Jar & Pixie (I wonder if they’ll like My skirts! LOL!), footslave (WITHOUT the forbidden songs!), the deliciously evil Blonde, amber-pehonix and her eternally patient Master Neo.

For Me not only will the event be something I enjoy, with the chance to shop with some of the best alternative traders and the joy of seeing some outstanding Dominants play, but also a time to catch up with some very dear friends. It’s also the perfect opportunity for Me to play around with costumes. While this months theme is Creation, it wouldn’t be Me if I didn’t Twist it just a little! Plans for My evening outfit are now completed…the only clue I’ll give is that if you’re really lucky, you might end up with an apple to return to Me later!

Kinkdom comes… will you?
